The 3M Ball Marker is a sealed plastic sphere with a diameter of approximately 11 cm, filled with antifreeze liquid to -32 ^° C. This liquid is based on completely harmless and environmentally friendly cosmetic and pharmaceutical alcohols. The advantage of the ball marker is that it is very easy to store; when dropped into a trench, the coil floating in the liquid automatically stabilizes in an ideal horizontal position ( ship's compass technology ). This ensures absolutely accurate detection. The marker serves only as a marker . It can be used at depths of up to 150 cm.
