The DCD-AE3 is a rate-of-rise heat detector with a fixed temperature element of 60°C using a thermistor and linearisation circuit to provide an accurate linear response heat detector. The DCD-AE3 is ideal for use in medium temperature environments, such as tumble dryers or where smoke detectors are not suitable due to the presence of steam or cooking fumes such as in a kitchen. The DCD-AE3 is supported by a range of bases for different applications and these are supported by most conventional systems. A third terminal provides the remote indicator output.
