Raytech Easy Ramp consists of a constant-wattage heating cable assembled with a tape to form a heating mat that can be quickly and easily laid out on the surfaces to be protected. Easy Ramp is particularly suitable for solving problems caused by ice formation and snow accumulation on garage access ramps, pedestrian walkways, open-air parking lots, sidewalks, etc. It can be installed in concrete, asphalt, interlocking bricks, or under porphyry tiles or other roofing materials secured with cement and sand. The standard width of Easy Ramp mats is 60 cm; this width is sufficient to clear the tire tracks of ice and snow or create an extremely safe pedestrian crossing. The specific power developed by Easy Ramp is 300 W/m². The mat is available in various lengths that can be easily adapted to the size of the surface to be covered. If the mat is larger than the ramp, the excess can be easily folded 90°. The mat is supplied pre-assembled, ready for installation, complete with 4 meters of cold wire (3x1.5 mm² or 3x2.5 mm²) for connection to the power supply. The constant-power heating cable that makes up the mat is a two-conductor, shielded heating cable; this allows only one end to be powered, making installation even simpler and quicker.
